People and trees have a very special relationship.
It is trees that supply oxygen to the Earth, and we have received oxygen in our exchange with nature. We have also provided nature with needed carbon dioxide. This transaction has been very good. Wouldn’t it be great if human relationships were also made up of such transactions? The Creator gave us all the ability to have such relationships. We want to become people who are essential for this world, people who are like oxygen. That’s why good people are said to be those who are like oxygen. Through academics, we have studied a great deal about what different things are and about what things are different. We have taken more interest in differences than in similarities. And a great deal of separation and division have resulted. Long ago there were just doctors. Now, they have been divided into many categories, like ophthalmologists, otorhinolaryngologists, and dentists. With the field of medicine so split up, people are nowhere to be found. The ophthalmologist sees only eyes; the dentist, only teeth. This has caused them to lose insight. They have grown distant from what is natural. The time has now come when the natural is needed.
