Ilchi Lee believes that spiritual healing can be a difficult road, but it is a key to realizing one's true potential. There are many ways to achieve this kind of healing, and one of them is through music.

Brain cancer survivor Alexx Kipp knows the power of music firsthand, according to The Los Angeles Times. He has been playing drums since he was eight and became a huge fan of The Beatles. Despite seven different rounds of chemotherapy and a month of radiation treatment, he kept playing. For years, Kipp hoped to meet Ringo Starr.

"Alexx came to me one morning and he said, 'Dad, I had a dream last night and I met Ringo,'" Charles Kipp told the publication. "About a week later we got the call. I told him, 'It looks like your dream came true.'"

Thanks to The Make A Wish Foundation and the Hard Rock International restaurant chain, Kipp was given the chance to share the stage with Starr. They alternated on the drum set and, at the end of the day, Starr gave Kipp the set.

The experience reminded the Beatles drummer of his own first experiences with drums – which he picked up after staying at a hospital for polio, because a nurse there had inspired him.

"That's where it all started for me," Starr told the news source.
