As more people are looking to increase their brain potential through a higher education, online schools are becoming more popular. With a number of students enrolling in these kinds of programs, virtual institutions have had to increase their offerings to accept a higher number of enrollees.
Bryant & Stratton College Online announced that it has launched a new bachelor’s of business administration (BBA) degree with a concentration in accounting. This will be the school’s fifth online program at the bachelor level.
Students who choose to enroll in the focus will learn about financial theories, tax laws and social policy issues that affect tax payers. Those who are interested in becoming accountants will also learn about the ethical issues that come with the profession.
“Bryant & Stratton College Online’s newly launched BBA in accounting program is a natural extension of our popular BBA in general management,” said Scott Traylor, associate campus director of online education at the school. “We decided to develop a BBA in accounting in response to employer and student demand and we are thrilled to meet the need for a business administration program with a concentration in accounting.”
